Though studies over the years have shown that users typically click more on organic ads, in certain industries users are more likely to click on whatever listings show up at the top of the page, both paid and organic.
Bunnyfoot’s research was primarily focused on the insurance industry, which is one of the most competitive industries for both pay-per-click and organic search. Bunnyfoot used heat-mapping software to track how users interact with the search results.
